    Slice the cheese thin and divide it among four plates. Cut the pears into quarters, core them and slice the quarters thin. Divide them among four plates.

    Warm the honey in a small saucepan and pour it lightly over the pears and cheese. Grind pepper over each plate and serve.

Wow - what a great dessert! It's super easy but delicious, elegant and interesting. I didn't measure the cheese and honey, but I suspect that I used less than what is listed here. More would probably have been delicious as well. I spread the pear slices into a starburst shape that looked appealing.
