Preparation

  1. Step 1

    While the pizza dough rises, steep the garlic in the oil. When the dough has been placed on the baker's peel, brush it with the garlic-and-oil mixture, leaving a half-inch border.

  2. Step 2

    Spread the clams over the pie. Top it with the oregano and Parmesan cheese, and bake as directed.

I added some shallot and red crushed pepper to the garlic and olive oil. I also warmed the oil very gently before taking it off the heat and adding the ingredients. I had to use canned baby clams but it was absolutely delish! (Although I can’t breathe near anyone for awhile.)

I love clams and this is Really Good!!!
