  • 1cup tomato juice
  • 2tablespoons lime juice
  • 1tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • ounces citron vodka
  • 2basil leaves, fried in oil and sprinkled with salt, for garnish

  1. Step 1

    In a shaker, mix together salt, grains of paradise, tomato juice, lime juice, vinegar and vodka. Shake well. Pour over a glass of ice, and grind more grains of paradise over the glass. Garnish with basil leaves.

Made this Super Bowl Sunday. I bought the Grains of Paradise for another dish and I decided to try it for this. Used Orange Balsamic vinegar. All I can say is WOW! It’s still 2 1/2 hours till game time. Another couple of these and it’s doubtful that I’ll make it to half time.
