Ingredients
Yield:2 servings
- ½cup pitted soft dates like medjool
- 1cup milk (low-fat is O.K.!)
- 5ice cubes
- ½cup silken tofu
- ½teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼teaspoon orange-flower water (optional)
Preparation
- Step 1
In a blender, combine dates and milk at low speed until dates are completely broken up.
- Step 2
Add remaining ingredients and process at high speed until the mixture is smooth, with bits of the dates visible. Pour into iced glasses.

Tasty but dates did not purée even after I soaked them. There were clumps and the shake was not sweet enough. Added a T of raw honey and was better.
