Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Put the water in a saucepan and add salt. Bring to a boil and add the snow peas. Blanch them for 1 minute and drain.

  2. Step 2

    Heat the oil in a nonstick skillet. Add the sesame seeds and brown them lightly. Add the snow peas, scallions, salt and pepper. Saute for 1 minute and serve.

Very simple and very good. Added a small amount of sesame oil as suggested in the notes. Highly recommended.

I made this tonight. My husband accidentally put the snow peas in the freezer so no blanching. I also added a little bit of sesame oil at the very end. Delicious!

Very easy and excellent. Wonderful for lots of snow peas!
