Ingredients
- 8ounces fine-quality bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- ¼cup very hot water
- 1tablespoon creme de menthe
Preparation
- Step 1
In the top of a double boiler set over simmering water, melt the chocolate, stirring occasionally, until smooth. Whisk in the water and creme de menthe all at once. Remove from the heat and stir until very glossy. Use immediately as a glaze for chocolate mint cake.

This turned out as thick as frosting. Not sure what I did wrong but it makes sense that so little liquid would not result in a glaze. I'm not an experienced baker so would appreciate advice if I got something wrong.
