Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Turn on broiler in oven or toaster oven.

  2. Step 2

    Combine the sherry and sesame oil. Grate the ginger, and add.

  3. Step 3

    Wash and dry fish. Coat it with marinade, until it's time to cook it -- just a few minutes.

  4. Step 4

    Remove the fish from the marinade, and broil it according to the Canadian rule: measure the fish at its thickest part, and cook it 8 to 10 minutes to the inch. Scrod will take about 5 minutes. Brush once with marinade.

Very simple and quick. Tasted good.

Fine and good but not special. Used half white cooking wine and half Chinese cooking wine. Didn’t have sherry. Will need salt and pepper.
