Preparation

  1. Step 1

    In a small, shallow bowl mix sugar, honey, rice wine and salt. Place tenderloin in a shallow stainless-steel or ceramic bowl and brush sauce over meat. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 3 hours.

  2. Step 2

    Prepare grill. Cover the rack with aluminum foil. Grill the meat over medium-low heat, covered for 1½ hours, turning occasionally.

  3. Step 3

    Remove meat from grill and carefully peel foil from grill; then replace pork on grill. Cook just until meat becomes sizzling brown, about 5 minutes. Remove from grill, cut into ¼-inch slices and serve.
