    Scrub potatoes; do not peel. If potatoes are large, slice ⅛-inch thick. If potatoes are very small, cut in quarters.

  2. Step 2

    Mix oil and cumin, and stir potatoes into mixture, coating well.

  3. Step 3

    Prepare stove-top grill. Arrange potatoes on grill; cook over medium heat, turning when potatoes brown on one side, and cook through.

This recipe seems really incomplete. A grilled fingerling recipe on NYTimes includes the step of covering them in a pot of salted water and cooking for 5-7 minutes before grilling them.
There's also not times for cooking or indication of when the potatoes are done. I think they'll burn before ready to eat.
