I used wide udon noodles, added mushrooms, and a bit more garlic. I sauteed the broccoli and the mushrooms before combining them. This was very good and easy. I will make this again and experiment a bit more.

This is a keeper! I love the old recipes. It is easy as Chinese recipes go.

Don't hate on me because I made some changes to this fabulous recipe: used Lo Mein noodles; sauteed broccoli and mushrooms in canola oil and a little sesame oil, then removed to a bowl and sauteed shrimp in more oils; to the peanut butter/water mixture, subbed Iron Kitchen Sesame Garlic Sauce & Glaze in place of the garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, vinegar mixture and added a little chopped ginger. For toppings, I used the scallions, plus cilantro and chopped peanuts. Double the peanut sauce.

Excellent. Added a bit of chili oil to give it a jolt. Served it with Sesame chicken with cashews and dates. A winner.
