Whenever your bananas are ripening faster than you can eat them, peel and freeze them to use later in smoothies like this one. You can make a richer drink by adding almond butter or peanut butter to the mix.

No, you don't need them if the banana is frozen. Makes it icier.

so delicious and creamy. i used oat milk which is already kinda sweet, so the addition of the honey and vanilla probably wasn’t necessary, and next time i’ll omit. i didn’t have pepitas so i used cashews and i didn’t soak— just let all the nuts sit in a few tablespoons of hot water while i gathered the rest of the ingredients. i microwaved the oatmilk so it was warm— i prefer a warm drink in the morning. this was creamy, warm, and delicious.

I used Kefir instead of milk and opted for a frozen banana instead of ice cubes -- worked an absolute treat!

If you like a smoothie that is like slugging down a barrium swallow at the gastroenterologists, this is the smoothie for you. I prefer lighter more veg present with fruit& protein powder. I will add pumpkin seeds. (Liked) Also buy fresh turmeric and add a little black pepper to activate the anti inflamitory properties.

My food processor couldn’t really grind it fully, but it’s still delicious. Made with oat milk and peanut butter.
