Some units coversion: So 1/4 cup sounds big, but it's 2 ounces... 1-1/2 tablespoons is 3/4 ounce 1 tablespoon is 1/2 ounce Still, this is a really spirit-forward version of a Paloma! From other sources, and worth a try (also, this is a highball recipe): 2 ounces tequila 2 ounces grapefruit juice ½ ounce lime juice ¼ ounce simple syrup 2 ounces club soda grapefruit wedge, for garnish
Refreshing drink and something different if you're tired of the good old margarita. I used tonic water because that's all we had in the fridge. Freshly squeezed grapefruit and lime juices were key to my drink's success and deliciousness.
In Mexico the locals use Squirt soda, tequila, squeeze of lime and a bit of salt grated on the ice. Stir. Amounts vary according to taste..very refreshing!
Try it with a grapefruit Jarritos. Also excellent (maybe even better) with mezcal...
