This green smoothie is really more blue than green, as the color of the blueberries predominates. But the greens are there, so in my mind it’s still a green drink. Half a banana wasn’t quite enough to punch up the flavor of the drink, but I found that a whole banana did the trick. I used a baby greens mix that included baby kale, chard (red and green), and spinach.

Delicious! 2 dates instead of honey, half arugula half spinach, 1 tbsp ground flax seeds instead of chia.

Honey exhibits a broad-spectrum of antibacterial activity against various strains. Probably best to replace it with a different sweetener if you want the full benefits of the kefir.

This was a great smoothie. I left out the honey bc I don’t think it’s unnecessary. A little bit of ginger would’ve been a great

This is great pretty much as is. I added a 1/2 teaspoon of maple syrup because I'm out of honey. I maybe could have even done without it, but this is a great smoothie all around and will be in my regular rotation.

I made this with two dates instead of honey as others suggested and it was so delicious! I’ll be more open to using kefir in my smoothies now too.
