  • 2slices bread, finely crumbled

  • ½teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½teaspoon parsley flakes
  • ½onion, chopped very fine
  • pounds ground beef
  • 1pound ground pork
  • 2tablespoons honey
  • 2tablespoons orange juice

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Step 2

    Combine eggs, milk and bread crumbs.

  3. Step 3

    Add salt, garlic powder, parsley and onion, and combine all with the beef and pork.

  4. Step 4

    Shape into a loaf, and place in baking pan. Bake for 50 minutes.

  5. Step 5

    Combine honey and orange juice.

  6. Step 6

    Remove loaf from oven, prod top with fork, cover with honey-and-juice mixture, and bake for 10 more minutes.

recipe is incredibly disappointing, I carefully measured the amounts by weight and it was still raw in the center after much longer oven time than the recipe called for
