Ingredients
Yield:1½ quarts; 8 ounces have about 45 calories
- 4cups chicken broth
- Half a cucumber, scrubbed and sliced very thin but not peeled
- 4raw mushrooms, sliced
- 2cups shredded leafy green vegetables (spinach, lettuce or cabbage)
- 1tomato, cubed
- ½cup lean meat, cooked and shredded
- Salt and pepper to taste as an ingredient
Preparation
- Step 1
Heat broth. Add vegetables and meat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
