Ingredients
Yield:1¼ cups
- 1apple, quartered and cored
- ¼cup pecans or walnuts
- ½teaspoon cinnamon
- Dash of nutmeg
- Dash of ginger
- Honey to taste
- Red wine
Preparation
- Step 1
Combine the apples, nuts, spices, honey and wine in food processor until mixture resembles a mortar.

Good basic recipe, which can be easily adapted. I added, about 1/2 tsp of grated lemon rind, a tablespoon of lemon juice, and a small amount of grated fresh ginger.
