Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Brown the chops in their own fat on both sides.

  2. Step 2

    Press the clove of garlic through a press directly over the chops; sprinkle chops with oregano, lemon juice and pepper to taste.

  3. Step 3

    Slice feta into strips and arrange on top of chops. Cover; reduce heat so chops simmer and cook about 20 minutes, until chops are tender.

I agree I cooked 1 inch chops and it was very tasty but overcooked. I would cut the simmer time to 10 minutes next time.

Made 11/4/18 Karen liked this dish. Used lamb shoulder chops. Was good but over cooked per recipe. Next time cook chops remove from pan make sauce. Add chops back for a minute and serve. Served with tzatziki hummus and olives a tomato salad with balsamic dressing. Light and good.
