- Step 2
Roughly chop the pistachios and almonds. Grind the coriander, cumin and caraway seeds in an electric coffee grinder or spice mill. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Sprinkle on fruit, grilled fish or zucchini. Keep in a tightly covered jar.

You can purchase dukkah at Trader Joe's.
@Deb Venman: The note is at the very bottom of the recipe text: "Dukkah, an Egyptian nut-and-spice blend, can be purchased from kalustyans.com or made using the recipe provided."
Dukkah is well worth making from scratch as it has many uses aside from this recipe. Alternatively, there are much simpler dukkah recipes. Simply google "dukkah"for some ideas.
replaced the whipped cream by Greek yoghurt, drizzled with spicy syrup (sugar, water, star anise, hot red pepperoni)
Elegant, delicious, and easy! I wasn't in the mood to deal with the grill so I used the broiler. After I washed and split the peaches, I brushed with olive oil and a mixture of 1:1 bourbon and maple syrup. I broiled until they started to lightly brown in spots then plated, sprinkled with the store-bought dukkah and added whipped cream and thawed wild blueberries. Definitely will be made again!
Roll a small log of goat cheese in dukkah to form a light coating and place it on your next cheese board with a knife to slice off rounds and spread on whole grain crackers.
Finally made this recipe and OH MY GOODNESS! It was delicious! I wish I could post pictures, too, because the serving plate was so beautiful. Like others, I used a hazelnut dukkah and stirred vanilla yogurt (OIKOS Triple Zero Vanilla) instead of whipped cream. I added a drizzle of balsamic reduction over the top and served it alongside red dragon arugula. I’ll make this for company next time!
