No cream cheese in the recipe, the first instruction is to cream the cheese and butter together.
What is missing is that the cheese has to be grated?
I tasted the batter and it is delicious! Then I added tiny bits of fresh rosemary to the other half of the dough for more interest. They are chilling now. Will bake them before taking them to a party later!
These go fast. Also make a great gift for friend's Christmas. I give the chilled log to them to cut and cook for holiday guests. Nobody doesn't love these.
