Ingredients

Yield:2 cups
  • Pan drippings from turkey
  • 1tablespoon flour for every 2 cups drippings
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Pour off fat from pan drippings. Strain drippings; measure them, to know how much flour to use. Pour drippings into a saucepan and heat over high heat.

  2. Step 2

    Combine a little of the drippings with the flour to make a paste. Whisk paste into drippings with lemon juice.

  3. Step 3

    Cook over medium heat until gravy thickens, and beat well. Serve with turkey.

It was good before I added the lemon and absolutely fabulous afterwards!!

It worked out perfectly and the lemon juice adds a nice zing to the gravy.
