Ingredients
Yield:serves 6
- 1½pounds ground round
- 1½pounds ground chuck
- ¼cup finely chopped onion
- 2 to 3cloves garlic, minced
- 5tablespoons soy sauce
- 5tablespoons honey (preferably ThistleDew Farm West Virginia honey)
- ¼teaspoon Emeril's Essence (or Bayou Blast! Essence for a spicier burger)
- 1½teaspoons ground ginger
Preparation
- Step 1
Preheat a grill. In a large bowl, blend the ground round, ground chuck, onion, garlic, soy sauce, honey, Emeril's Essence and ginger.
- Step 2
Shape the mixture into six patties. Grill to taste. Serve on sourdough buns with lettuce, tomato and onion.
